| Few nice Cocktails from Vodka, Posted On - 2/23/2007 2:09:07 PM |

Atlantic Passion
some Ice
some Passion fruit
some Strawberry juice
some Sugar Syrup
1 part Vodka
Mix this one as the mood takes you, adding a little sugar to the rim - as if you're not sweet enough already. Your thoughts will soon be as fruity as your drink.
Black Russian
1 part Cherry Liqueur
2 parts Vodka
Another simple one we can all remember. Simply pour both ingredients, over ice, into a whiskey glass and give a quick stir. Rich, smooth and strong. Much like yourself, you know.
Bloody Mary
1 stalk of Celery
1 dash of Lemon juice
some Pepper
some Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco
3 parts Tomato Juice
1 part Vodka
The classic morning after eye-opener. Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into any large glass. For an extra kick, add a good dollop of horseradish. Clears the head so much you’ll actually start looking forward to hangovers. Add a celery stick too, if you have the energy.
Campari Cocktail
a dash of Angostura Bitters
2 parts Campari
1 Lemon
1 part Vodka
Poolside paradise. Shake all the ingredients, with some ice, and strain into a tall or cocktail glass, then twist lemon peel over the drink before plopping it into the glass and dipping in yourself. Then take bets with the waiter on who’ll lose their swimming costume first.
Cape Codder
3 parts Cranberry juice
1 Lime
1 part Vodka
Refreshing, cooling and with all that cranberry, good for you. Pour juice and vodka over lots of ice into a tall glass, stir, and pop in a few slices of lime. Heaven.
Centenary Martini
a slice of Apple
1 1/2 parts Apple Juice
3/4 parts Creme de Cassis
some Ice
2 parts Vodka
As racy as the bar that hosts this little number. Shake well and serve with ice. I feel a Bond moment coming on...
Cosmopolitan
1 dash of Cranberry juice
1 part Triple sec
1 1/2 parts Vodka
Very you - cool, sexy and worth every penny. And easily available. Shake all the ingredients with a few ice cubes, then strain into an extremely well-chilled cocktail glass. The sort of drink you could wrap and give to a friend.
Flying Grasshopper
2 parts Cream
3/4 parts Creme de Cacao (white)
3/4 parts Creme de Menthe
some Ice
1 part Vodka
Garnish the glass with a chocolate rim and drink your way into liquid heaven. Divine.
Green Demon
1/2 part Lime juice
6 leaves of Mint
4 drops of Orange Bitters
1/4 part Sugar Syrup
1 part Vodka
1 part Absinthe
Bring out the devil in you with this refreshing drink which will blow your mind (literally, so go easy, ok...?)
Greyhound
3 parts Grapefruit Juice
1 part Vodka
An alternative Screwdriver, with a little more bite. Pour the vodka over ice in a tall glass then top up with grapefruit juice. Like an angel singing in your mouth.
Harvey Wallbanger
1 part Galliano
4 parts Orange juice
2 parts Vodka
Unknown for anything but this, yet it’s so good it made Harvey immortal. Pour the juice and vodka over ice into a highball then float the Galliano on top. To you, Mr W.
Salty Dog
2 parts Grapefruit Juice
some Salt
1 part Vodka
Not an attractive image, but a very beautiful drink. Salt the rim of a champagne glass, shake all the ingredients with ice then pour it in. A little salt may even be sprinkled on top, but that'll only make you thirsty.
Screwdriver
3 parts Orange juice
1 part Vodka
So called because that’s what the oil worker’s in the Far East stirred it with when they invented this clever way to hide the (illegal) vodka in the orange. Pour the spirit and the juice, over ice, into a tall glass and stir.
Sea Breeze
4 parts Cranberry juice
1 part Grapefruit Juice
1 Lime
1 1/2 parts Vodka
A breath of fresh air. Pour everything into a tall glass filled with ice, stir, add a lime wedge, stir, then adore through a straw.
