Excitement, joy and hesitation-the first date can send a see of emotions for the femme fatales of the world. And just when you are about to fling your arms around your flame and seek that first encounter, chances are all those moral science lessons will come flooding back.
Should I, shouldn’t I? What will he think, a hallowed seductress or a eager to get laid? Here’s looking at the popular attributes that define a good girl, setting them apart from their debauched sisters.
First move
‘Asking a guy out isn’t exactly considered appropriate. Traditionally, men should take charge,’ Asserts Pratima Gulati. She adds ‘It was only after I asked my colleague out that I realized he felt a bit awkward.’
The initiators may be considered bold, but some men are just happy being led. Jatin varma proffers, ‘If men can give vent to their feelings, why can’t women? I think there is no harm if a woman initiates the process.’
Dress code

Says Vipin Shekhawat, ‘A girl who wears microminis isn’t someone you can take home to your parents.’ For some, no skin show is the key to win a man’s heart.
Anandita Chatterjee adds, ‘For my first date, I would wear a dress that doesn’t reveal that I am overtly modern’
To be or not to be?
Is sex ok on the first date? One often wonders if having sex on the first date is still a taboo. ‘A cultured girl should not get involved physically,’ asserts Ishant Agarwal. Some feel that sexual intimacy and marriage are two different aspects of a relationship.
Concurs Saurav, ‘Making love has nothing to do with marriage. Physical intimacy is natural where as marriage is social act.’
Saurav Tiwari sums up, ‘There hardly exists the concepts of a good and bad girl, and I want my girl to be direct, when it’s about being intimate. She should be frank about what she wants. |
